Symbols of Russia — official and non-official
The national symbols of Russia are a part of the cultural heritage of the country which has given the country its national identity.
The official and non-official symbols play an important role in formation of a country and a nation’s image; they build up its recognition.
Symbols of Russia and Russians are quite diverse. There are only three official, i.e. authorized by law, symbols of the state — the flag, emblem and anthem. But there are a lot of informal symbols, which are often much more famous and popular.

Личное письмо. Стратегия написания личного письма
1. Обращение начинается с Dear, к которому добавляется имя.
2. Всё обращение пишется не посередине, а на левой стороне без отступа на красную строку.
3. Не забудь поставить запятую (а не восклицательный знак) после обращения.
4. Поблагодари за полученное письмо.
5. Объясни, почему ты пишешь это письмо и о чем оно будет.
6. Ответь на вопросы, которые тебе задала Элис в своём письме.
7. В конце письма в новом абзаце задай Элис вопросы согласно заданию (про ее новый дом).
8. В конце письма не забудь написать завершающую фразу Best wishes (С наилучшими пожеланиями) или Love (Целую) на отдельной строке.
9. Не забудь поставить запятую после Best wishes,

The end of school is the start of our independent life and the beginning of the most serious examination we have passed. In order to do well at this examination it is necessary to choose the right road in life which will help us best to live and work for own good and for the benefit of our country.

My School 1

I have just finished school number … My school is (not) very new and modem and (but) it is very conformable and all the pupils like it very much, it is really home for everyone, who studies there. It has three (four, five, two) floors. The classrooms are light and high. There are classrooms for practically all the subjects — English, History, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Literature, etc. There is a computer class in our school, -where pupils study computing, one of the most important subjects nowadays. There is a school hall in our school, too. Meetings, conferences, concerts and all the celebrations take place there.
